Новий альбом Somali Yacht Club уже з'явився в мережі

Львівське стонер тріо Somali Yacht Club сьогодні, 22 січня, офіційно випустило свій новий альбом "The Sea".

Замовити його вигляді дисків уже можна на лейблі Robustfellow. 

"But the bravest beaver amongst us is afraid of himself. The mutilation of the savage has its tragic survival in the self-denial that mars our lives. We are punished for our refusals. Every impulse that we strive to strangle broods in the mind and poisons us. The body sins once, and has done with its sin, for action is a mode of purification. Nothing remains then but the recollection of a pleasure, or the luxury of a regret. The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it. Resist it, and your soul grows sick with longing for the things it has forbidden to itself, with desire for what its monstrous laws have made monstrous and unlawful. It has been said that the great events of the world take place in the brain. Музиканти записували альбом на студіях Lypki Records та Jenny Records, а його зведенням і мастерингом займався Jaro Sound.

Somali Yacht Club - це psychedelic/stoner rock тріо зі Львова. Сформований у 2010 році в якості джемової команди, гурт швидко трансформувався з сайд-проекту в головний для своїх учасників. У серпні 2011 вони самотужки випустили ЕР з чотирьох пісень під назвою "Sandsongs", а у 2013 році вийшов сингл "Desert Walls". У повноформатному альбомі “The Sun” (RBF 004, Robustfellow Prods.) вони змінили напрямок з прямолінійного в абстрактніший і прогресивніший бік. Гурт змішує stoner, blues, dub, shoegazing, psychedelic rock і post rock, красиво загортаючи це все в фуз, даруючи слухачеві різноманіття емоцій і станів у справді продуманий і атмосферний спосіб.
